Introduction
Capacitor solar energy storage, often referred to as supercapacitors, is a revolutionary technology designed to address the challenges of solar energy intermittency. Unlike traditional battery systems, which store energy in chemical form, capacitors store energy electrostatically. It consists of two conductive plates separated by an insulating material known as a dielectric. When a voltage is applied across the plates, electric charge accumulates, allowing the capacitor to temporarily. I would like to explore the cost effectiveness of building a super capacitor bank for energy storage to use at night time, especially considering the costs of these components from overseas is decreasing as time goes on and perhaps a high quality super capacitor bank could outlast conventional.
