Can a box-type solar collector produce hot water?
Kumar applied the same idea with Rabin et al. , i.e. he investigated a box-type solar collector consisting of three heat exchangers with fins and integrated PCM (paraffin) with a melting point of 54 °C. It was found that the system studied could produce domestic hot water in a desired temperature range.
What is a concentrated solar collector?
The concentrated collectors are used in applications that require temperatures higher than those achieved by flat plate and evacuated tube collectors, for instance in steam production, power generation or metal melting.
