Introduction
The Constitution protects lawful private property, and the Civil Code and Property Law provide detailed rules for owning, using, transferring, mortgaging, inheriting, and compensating private assets. Beijing’s solar strategy has evidently prioritized deployment of rooftop solar for government buildings and in provinces that hold key naval bases. Since the Chinese Communist Revolution in 1949, collectivities or the state have owned most of the land; [1] the Property Law of the People's Republic of China passed in 2007 codified property-rights. China's Supreme People's Court (SPC) on Thursday unveiled a reform outline for courts, highlighting judicial protection of property rights as part of wider efforts to improve the rule of law in the country's business environment.
