Introduction
Considering the advantages of mature battery energy storage technology, fast response speed, and relatively low price, this paper chooses centralized battery energy storage as the focus of research to optimize the capacity of wind-solar-storage microgrid systems. Photovoltaic (PV) and wind power generation are very promising renewable energy sources, reasonable capacity allocation of PV–wind complementary energy storage (ES) power generation system can improve the economy and reliability of system operation. The optimization objective is to maximize net profit, considering three economic indicators: revenue from selling electricity.
