Introduction
Integrating phase change materials (PCM) with BIPV systems can reduce the temperature of photovoltaic panels and provide thermal storage for buildings. This study reviews the application of PCM in BIPV and building integrated photovoltaic thermal (BIPV/T) systems. The advantageous characteristic of PCMs is their low melting point, facilitating efficient heat storage and retrieval through latent heat of vaporization.
