Introduction
Batteries can provide highly sustainable wind and solar energy storage for commercial, residential and community-based installations. Solar and wind facilities use the energy stored in batteries to reduce power fluctuations and increase reliability to deliver. RPS supplies the shipping container, solar, inverter, GEL or LiFePo battery bank, panel mounting, fully framed windows, insulation, door, exterior + interior paint, flooring, overhead lighting, mini-split + more customizations! RPS can customize the Barebones and Move-In Ready options to any design. Thus, the goal of this report is to promote understanding of the technologies involved in wind-storage hybrid systems and to determine the optimal strategies for integrating these technologies into a distributed system that provides primary energy as well as grid support services.
