Introduction
Hungary’s largest energy storage facility is currently under construction near Szolnok, with Chinese company Huawei involved in the solar energy project. Hungary joins its neighbours in scaling up grid-scale battery storage, installing the country’s largest BESS to date. The innovative and mobile solar container contains 200 photovoltaic modules with a maximum nominal output of 134 kWp and, thanks to the lightweight and environmentally friendly aluminum.
